These terms cover your use of UsedBike.Shop. By using the site you accept them. If you do not, please do not use the site. Questions go to [email protected].
What this site is
UsedBike.Shop is a classifieds marketplace. We list used motorcycles held by physical shops in Bangladesh, and we put you in touch with the shop.
We are not the seller. We are not an agent for either side. No sale happens on this site: there is no cart, no checkout and no escrow. Money for a bike never passes through UsedBike.Shop. Whatever you agree, you agree with the shop, in person, at the shop.
What "verified" means, and what it does not
A verified shop is one an administrator here has approved after checking what the shop sent us, normally its trade licence, the owner's national ID and a photo of the shop front. It is a paperwork check made by a person, not an automatic test, and we can withdraw it.
We do not visit shops. A verified badge means the paperwork of the business was checked. It is not a statement about any individual bike's condition, mileage, accident history or legal status, and it is not a guarantee that you will be treated well.
Papers status shown on a listing is what the shop told us. Check the documents yourself, at the shop, before you pay anyone anything.
If you are buying
- Inspect the bike in person and check its papers before paying.
- A registration that is never transferred stays the legal responsibility of the seller. Complete the transfer.
- Tell us about a listing that looks wrong, using the report link on the bike page.
If you run a shop
You are responsible for everything you publish. By listing a bike you confirm that you own it or have the right to sell it, that the details and the papers status are truthful, and that the photographs are yours to publish.
You must not list a vehicle that is stolen, that you cannot lawfully sell, or whose documents you have misrepresented. You must not list anything that is not a motorcycle offered for sale.
Give us the right to display what you upload on the site and in the site's own promotion of your listing. You keep ownership of it.
We can decline, edit, suspend or remove any listing or shop, and we can withdraw a verified badge, if these terms are broken or if we believe buyers are being misled.
Listings expire after a freshness window so buyers are not sent to bikes that have gone. Renew them from your dashboard.
Paid placement
Featured slots and banner placements are paid, and they are always labelled as such on the site. Ranking is never sold silently.
Payments for placement are arranged and confirmed manually, and a campaign runs for the time purchased once it goes live. For anything unexpected about a campaign or an invoice, contact [email protected].
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think somebody else has it. You are responsible for what happens under your account. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms.
Liability
The site is provided as it is. We do not promise that a listing is accurate, that a shop will behave well, or that the site is always available.
To the extent the law allows, UsedBike.Shop is not liable for any loss arising from a transaction between you and a shop, from relying on information in a listing, or from the site being unavailable. Nothing here removes rights that Bangladeshi law does not allow to be removed.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Bangladesh.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be noted on this page.
