Why we exist

Buying a used bike in Bangladesh is mostly a fight against one feeling: the fear of getting cheated. Fake listings. Photos of a bike that was already sold. A "cousin's" bike with hidden paper problems. A stranger from a Facebook group who wants advance payment and then goes quiet.

Most people manage this fear by asking around, bringing along whoever they can find who understands engines, and hoping for the best. That works, but it takes weeks and a lot of luck.

We built UsedBike.Shop to shrink that fear down to something manageable. Every bike you see here comes from a real, physical shop we have checked. We confirm the trade licence, address, and contact, then our admin approves the shop before a single listing goes live. And every bike carries its papers chip up front, PAPERS CLEAR, TAX DUE or DOCS MISSING, plus whatever the shop has told us about owner party, smart card and tax token, so you are not left to call the shop and find out.

What we do

You browse and filter like you would on any big shopping site, by brand, price, area, year, km, cc, papers. No account needed. When a bike looks right, you contact the shop directly by WhatsApp or phone, or email where the shop lists one, then go see it in person. If you want an account, it keeps your saved bikes and searches, the shops you follow, and the bikes you have looked at or contacted, and if you switch on alerts, it can tell you when a bike you saved drops in price or sells.

We also support exchange and trade-in requests, so if you are selling your current bike to buy the next one, the shop can work that out with you at the counter.

What we are NOT

We are not a payment platform. We never hold your money and never take a cut of the deal. Every deal happens offline, at the shop, between you and the owner, the way it should be.

We are also not a free-for-all classifieds board. Not just anyone can post. A shop has to be a verified physical business first. That single rule is the whole point of this platform.

If something ever looks wrong, every listing has a report button. Tell us, and we will check the shop again.

The facts

• UsedBike.Shop is a used motorcycle marketplace in Bangladesh that lists bikes only from verified physical shops, not from private individuals.
• Every shop is verified before it can list: a person at UsedBike.Shop checks the trade licence, the owner's national ID and a photo of the shop front, and an admin approves the shop before its bikes go public.
• Every bike listing states its papers status up front, PAPERS CLEAR, TAX DUE or DOCS MISSING, and adds the shop's own answers on whether the bike is 1st or 2nd party, whether it has a smart card, and its tax token status wherever the shop has given them.
• UsedBike.Shop never processes payments and never takes a cut of a sale. Every deal happens in person at the shop.
• Buyers contact shops directly by WhatsApp or phone (plus email where the shop lists one), and complete the purchase at the shop counter after inspecting the bike.
